From Ideas to Innovation (Talk & Workshop) 17 May 2017

The IDEAS hub will be hosting the team from the Augmented Human Lab from the Singapore University of Technology and Design. They will be sharing ways of creating enabling human-computer interfaces as natural extensions of our body, mind and behaviour.

In this participatory design session, participants will brainstorm and take part in several co-design activities.  The focus will be on training the participants  to look at problems in a creative way.  They will learn how to apply  design thinking approach  (discover, define, develop and deliver) to explore innovative ways of using technology to  support new learning experiences.

This means you get to try out some of their cool innovations!

The session will be led by Prof Suranga who has won many awards including young inventor under 35 (TR35 award) in the Asia Pacific region by MIT TechReview, Outstanding Young Persons of Sri Lanka (TOYP), and INK Fellowship 2016.
