The IDEAS Hub welcomed the UWCSEA and local community to their Annual Open Day on Saturday, 30 September 2017. This marked the beginning of the second year of innovation and social entrepreneurship at hub on Dover Campus.
Families were treated to a day of fun filled activities led by student and parent volunteers. There was something for everyone! Attendees could sew pom poms, make their own puppets, be the star of their own movie and even taste homemade sourdough bread thanks to the support of the fermentation interest group, the Culture Club. Noah Katz, Digital Literacy Coach at UWCSEA Dover, set up a drawing robot which drew an array of interesting shapes. This was one of the more popular set ups during the Open Day.
As the IDEAS Hub continues to grow, it is our hope that we continue to inspire and support our community in their 'maker' journey.
